The service

DotCards provides tools for businesses to create and manage digital loyalty programmes, customer records, digital wallet cards, promotions, notifications, reporting, and related support services. Features may vary by plan, configuration, location, wallet provider, or applicable law.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and ensure that only authorised people access your workspace. You are responsible for activity under your account and for promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorised use.

Your responsibilities

You must use DotCards lawfully and only for legitimate business purposes. You are responsible for your programme rules, rewards, marketing messages, customer notices, permissions, content, business information, staff access, and compliance with laws that apply to your business.

You must not use DotCards to send unlawful, deceptive, discriminatory, abusive, infringing, or unsolicited communications; introduce harmful code; attempt unauthorised access; interfere with the service; or process customer information without a lawful basis.

Your customer data

You retain responsibility for customer information and business content entered into your workspace. You confirm that you have the necessary rights, notices, and permissions to use that information through DotCards. We process it to provide the service and as described in our Privacy Policy.

Wallet providers and third parties

Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, email providers, web-push providers, and other third-party services are governed by their own terms and availability. DotCards does not control those services and cannot guarantee uninterrupted delivery, acceptance, or display of a wallet card or notification.

Fees and payment

Fees, plan terms, and payment dates are set out in your selected plan, invoice, or other written agreement with us. Unless required by law or agreed in writing, fees are non-refundable. We may suspend or limit access for overdue amounts after giving reasonable notice.

Intellectual property

DotCards and its software, branding, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. You retain ownership of your business content and branding.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but it may be changed, maintained, interrupted, or discontinued from time to time. We may update features where reasonably necessary for security, compliance, or product improvement.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect the service, comply with law, address non-payment, or respond to a material breach of these Terms. On termination, you should export any data you need before the applicable retention period ends.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DotCards is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every business purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DotCards will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, including lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Our total liability relating to the service will not exceed the fees paid by you to DotCards in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law
