Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-05
DotCards (“DotCards”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides digital loyalty tools that help businesses create, issue, and operate loyalty cards through Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and related web services.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide when you create an account, use our platform, contact support, or create a loyalty programme. This may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, account credentials, billing and invoice information, and support messages.
When a business uses DotCards, it may add customer information such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, card identifiers, loyalty activity, rewards, redemptions, feedback, and marketing preferences. We also collect technical information needed to operate and secure the service, including IP address, browser or device information, session data, and service logs.
How we use information
We use personal information to provide, secure, support, and improve DotCards; create and deliver digital loyalty cards; process scans, rewards, promotions, and notifications; communicate service-related information; manage subscriptions and invoices; prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with legal obligations.
Where required, we rely on your consent. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time using the relevant unsubscribe control or by contacting us.
Business customers and their end customers
A business using DotCards is generally responsible for the customer information it enters into the platform and for obtaining any notices, permissions, or consents required to use that information. In that relationship, the business is normally the controller and DotCards acts as its service provider or processor.
If you are a customer of a business using DotCards, contact that business first to exercise a request relating to its loyalty programme. We may assist the business where appropriate.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the service, including with hosting, email, wallet, security, analytics, and support providers. We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights and safety, or during a lawful business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we use appropriate safeguards and take reasonable steps to protect it.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Business customers can request deletion or export of their workspace data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal information. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing depends on it. To make a request, contact us at info@dotcards.digital
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please keep account credentials confidential and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access.
Children
DotCards is not intended for children under [18 / applicable age]. Do not submit a child’s personal information unless you are authorised to do so and applicable law permits it.
